B'Damn- The Final Installment

meapetSo I wake up at 10 on Sunday, I'm kinda tired. Noones responded to my renfaire trip, so I decide to dress in garb for my photography stuff. That's when everyone comes up to tell me how they want to go. So I tell them they need to let me know by 1 and we'll go from there.
1 came and went, and noone responded. Uncle Phantom and Mommy and Daddy loved my dress.. I had forgotten they hadn't seen it.
Unfortunately, it was very hot, so the bodice came off quickly, even after taking forever to lace. But since I wasn't going to faire, I didn't worry about it.
I did my picture things with Uncle Phantom and Femcar, and then uncle Boymeat. Then I sat with Daddy and watched uncle boymeat's class. It gave me some good ideas. (Kayla has cooties so we should do things to get her free of cooties..like feed her fish!)It also put some things into new perspectives for me, which was really nice as well. And of course, snuggling tiredly against daddy and snapping his nametag and getting my hairpulled was very nice as well. Well.. until he threatened to not get me a pony.
After that, everyone started saying their goodbyes. Jae and [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] came up, asking if I was still going to faire, and i said probably not.. but then they asked if I would be interested in going around dc for a bit. So thats what we did, with Tim from Chicago, and then to my house for dinner and wonderful conversation. Much better than sweltering for like 4 hours in my garb. I'll leave that to this weekend, when I've slept much more.
Tim and Jae and Concubine (DrBogey is now referred as such because I dubbed him such), were great people to hang out with and relax. Conversation varied from all sides, which was wonderous. The only regret I had was that they couldn't stay longer because I was exhausted. But they're all invited back whenever they want.
So overall, the weekend was a smashing success. I was very happy with how everything went, and was so excited about making wonderful new friends, who I hope to see at BR. now if I can just find a room to crash in there....
