On the Prowl
Feb. 28th, 2002 01:28 amI don't know why I put that title.. I don't know why I thought I was predatory. Guess it was just one of those ambivalent mood icony things.
Finally got my missing pay from the company that fired me. Just had to threaten legal action and instantly the extra money appeared in my account. I like that. It makes me happy. Especially cause that means I can pay a few bills. like Car insurance.
Also, talking to my friend tonight, I may have worked out a place to live! :) Cincin wants to find a new place to live, and she's a tolerable chick to live with I think. And there's a few places for around 1000 dollars that wouldn't be too bad. Now if I find a job soon, or even get my unemployment, I'm golden. Hopefully. Still planning on selling some stuff though. Don't need some of it, might as well. So, who wants to help me move? :) I have a really big bookcase I need to move.. I don't really want to get rid of it because it's been in the family for awhile now. But I mean if I have to , I will. Maybe I can get a bunch of money for it. I'll ask Charlene when she picks up my entertainment center on Friday.
Have an assignment due, trying to figure out if I want to write it first or do my meditation first (funny, I almost wrote medication.. hmmm...) I guess I should get cracking though, especially since Uncle Fred's going to be here at 11 am. Which means I'll need to be downstairs to answer the door.
Watched Rat Race today. Very funny movie. Especially the phone calls that the director and writer do instead of commentary. Followed it up with the commentary on Spaceballs. Not really that good. Was basically because I wanted to do some more crocheting. Yes, I'm addicted to twirling string and making an afghan. Though I think its that time of year.. Cin said she was doing crochet last week. Kinda funny...
Anyway, off to do my stuffis. Toodles yall.
