Kitty update and Job update

meapetKitty's spay went well, and they also did a 6 month checkup. She has gingivitis, so I have to learn how to brush her teeth. That ought to be fun. I had noticed little black thingies on her chin, and it turns out she has Acne. solution for cat acne? Antibiotics.
Marmalade was highly pissed when she was coming home. She was growling, which I had never heard her do before. Kinda scared me actually. But she's doing well now- she's running around the house. i'm gonna put her collar back on her later, but for now she's just roamin free. I actually felt bad about sending her there today. But it was needed.
In her notes, the doctor wrote "Marmelade was a very exciting patient." I wonder if she bit the doctor...damn vampire.
As for job, I'm temping in Chantilly, doing data entry for a real estate investment firm. Mind numbing stuff, but it pays so its okay. The funny thing is that their computer dude on site said he couldn't set a box up for me because they had filled their alloted range of IPs. And so then I'm like, aren't you using DHCP?, and we ended up getting into a discussion on servers,and my previous jobs. He wants my resume tomorrow, because in reality, he's supposed to just be the coder. Looks like its possible that I'll get a tech job permanent with benefits out of it! Hmmm.. Interesting.
I need to eat, as I havent in 2 days, and keep an eye on kitty. Toodles.

I think facing your day with the stress of a temp thing (and doing a hands down damn good job!) and taking your baby in for major surgery (and doing it even though you weren't sure you could).. are just two examples of the ways in which I am inspired by your strength and love this peek into your life. *snuzz*
