At least 4 vials...

So for the first time since February, I have to go get blood taken. Can I just mention how scared I am? I hate getting blood taken. Its right up there with going to the dentist... if I could go my entire life without doing it, I would. L's gonna go wtih me, and I don't think he know's what he's in for.

I can already feel the needle. Eeww....

Blood loss may cause illness....

So getting the blood taken wasn't too bad. L held my hand and Hopkins actually does the taking by IV, so the needle doesn't move much in your elbow. Afterwards we went for breakfast because I needed to eat and take my meds...After breakfast however, I started to feel ill. We came back to the house, cause I felt dizzy everytime I stood up, and I curled up on the couch. There I've stayed until just about 10 minutes ago when nature called. this is the first time this afternoon I've been able to sit up.

They think that my blood pressure might have been high when I got the blood taken, so then when it dropped back down, it messed me up. I dunno. All I know is I wish I didn't feel dizzy so I could do stuff I need to do... Like make a Birthday present for a certain Zauditu who's b-day is tomorrow, and start getting things ready for Christmas.

Return to the Darkroom- the payback experience.

well after a dinner my hunny lovingly made for me, I was feeling better, and decided to take him down into the Darkroom for a refresher course in darkroom assistance. I decided I wanted to work on that print that had eluded me the other night, mainly due to my desire of higher contrast, when forgetting to realize its a friggin night scene! So I took to it again, and got it, perfectly. One of my best pictures, I must say...even though it is a night shot and those people try to say are bad because they lack contrast. I do dare to say, however, that this print does have quite a bit of contrast, and has a line on it that just draws your eye across her smooth lines, and upwards to the night sky.

I may scan it in, but L's scanner's broken.

Now off to watch Most Extreme Elimination Challenge.

PS...

I want to see Master and Commander again. Anyone up for going this weekend?
