Marian Ravenwood
Jan. 24th, 2002 12:52 amI know many of you are going, WTF? about the subject line. The subject line is in regards to a previous post about Indiana Jones 4 coming out. *Bouncies, then calms to continue her soliloquy thingy*
Anyway, onto Marian Ravenwood. If I could be any person in the Indiana Jones movies, I would be Marian Ravenwood. She was the only female in these movies to really have a spitfire, "who gives a shit" personality, while still being able to be feminine when she needed to be. That and she was the only one to really be tied up and rescued in any real way. Sure, Willy Scott was put in a small little cage, lowered towards fire, and rescued, but it just doesn't have the same effect as being kidnapped effectively, bound effectively, and interrogated.
Now don't get me wrong, I know my Indy films. Yes, Indy really didn't rescue her. He would have, had he not been trapped in the pit, and she was trapped in the pit too. But I mean, you just have to imagine that interrogation scene that ensued after she tried to escape Belloq, and the evil Chinese looking guy came in.
There's another point. She attempted escape by herself. Indy left her tied up (maybe Indy was into bondage?), and she was forced to take matters into her own hand, by seducing Belloq. Of course that whole alcohol thing didn't help, and then of course, that evil Chinese looking guy came in and screwed up her whole plan. Hence the interrogation scene that we never saw, but can seriously fantasize about. MMM Mistress in a black Fedora...Master as Indiana Jones... Mmmmm...Or even vice versa... Must focus on finishing this rant, then I can go fantasize. *innocent look* I mean.. Go to sleep..yeah... :)
Anyway, none of the other female characters were really that good. I mean, Elsa was a conniving bitch, though she had some good tongue techniques. I can remember watching it with my first boyfriend, and giving him his first hard on by doing that kiss she does to Indy when he's all tied up. The sucking on the bottom lip thing. And the biting earlobe thingy she had going on. Other than that, conniving bitch. And Lets not even start on Willie Scott (who is apparently coming back in Indy 4 unfortunately). Besides being a bimbo, she was one hell of a SAM, and annoying. Did I mention annoying? I guess the SAM thing you could say that about all 3 women, but I think Marian was the most submissive of them all. A good swift kick in the ass from Indy and she probably would have been crawling around behind his feet.
Now I feel like either finding or trying to make a "Which Indiana Jones character Are you?" test. But first.. sleep.. yes...sleep..or something that helps me sleep. Those close to me know what that is (other than my fringie blankie.)
