(no subject)

got so much to do and so little time, so I'm just poppin in to say hi to everyone. And to ask a question- anyone know if I can let my bettas here without food for a day and a half? If not, I'll find someone to feed them for me :)
All right, off to paint and other cool things like that. hugs to all!

Yes, and in fact they'll live longer if you only feed them a little bit every other day. Food decaying and making the water toxic is a big fish killer.

And.. If you are going to be gone for some more serious time.. they make a block (stick, pellet) of food that will dissolve slowly and allow it to be picked at. Betas being generally top feeders don't always LIKE the food.. but if gone for a week.. you have fed them..? But.. I guess the first post is especially important if you have them in a bowl or some such.. you do have filters going right?
