So I've been up at my parents for the last 2 days because I was up at my Frederick Client. I had asked my dad if he had any frequent flyer miles I could use maybe to help defray some of the costs of my trip to London....
Tonight he sat down with me and booked both my flight and my hotel. I'm paying a whopping total of 120 bucks for my flight, and the taxes for my hotel room.
I'm flying on Air Canada out and USAirways back, and I'm staying at the Crowne Plaza St. James. One Block from Buckingham Palace.
Holy Crap Lions.
Its real. I'm actually going to London in April.

Date: 2007-01-13 03:31 pm (UTC)You will have a fanTABulous time in London!!!
Before you go, though, remind me to give you the skinny on taking Air Canada out, since I'm assuming that you will transfer through Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 - the airport that made me cry. There are things you should know about what to expect there so you don't have a miserable experience to start your trip. How much of a layover do you have there?

Date: 2007-01-14 04:39 pm (UTC)Double-score on that hotel! You're actually staying not far from the Wellington Hall where I've stayed twice
( http://www.londonhotels4u.com/hoteldetails.asp?p_estcd=E431 for anyone else looking for a cheap place to stay in summer).
Very cool. What are the dates of your trip again? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so many good things to do! Say hi to London for me!

April in London is sweet
BTW, a recommendation, use the "Let's Go" guide books....they have LOTS of off-touristy things to do and places to go that aren't listed elsewhere!!!
